UTV Nerf Bars & Rock Sliders for Side by Side
UTV nerf bars (also called rock sliders or tree kickers) protect the most vulnerable part of your machine: the lower chassis and footwell area. AFX Motorsports manufactures heavy-duty UTV nerf bars for the most popular Side by Side platforms.
Why you need nerf bars
Without nerf bars, your rocker panels and footwell are exposed to rocks, logs, tree branches, and impacts during off-road riding. A good set of nerf bars prevents costly chassis damage, doubles as a step for cabin access, and adds a serious aggressive look to your UTV.
Nerf bar types
- Tubular nerf bars: Lightweight, aerodynamic profile that does not catch on vegetation.
- Rock sliders with plate steel: Maximum protection for extreme rocky terrain.
- Nerf bars with step plate: Tubular construction plus textured step plate for easier cab access.
- Race-style tree kickers: Stinger-mounted tubing for high-speed brush running.
